The NC Dental Society does incredible work to ensure equitable access to dental care across NC. I've been particularly impressed with their response to Western NC's recent catastrophe, which has been swift and decisive. The leadership team cares about dentistry, dentists, and the communities they serve.

Eric Strang (CFO) Michael Janness (CEO) and Managing Partner (Kurt Harvey) of Oakpoint.us | LC Services recently have been involved with a $3,000,000 heist and is operating under tainted/defrauded money from Backed Business Funding stealing from multiple (Investors). After multiple attempts they are refusing communication and appearing to be running off with their heist of $3,000,000.

The Association of Dental Support Organizations , North Carolina Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association should weigh in on Oakpoint.us | LC Services 1 for their unethical and gross integrity involving this matter in the DSO Community as they clearly aren’t operating under the correct moral compass.

The dental system in North Carolina especially Wilmington is awful. I’ve moved from Maryland and I will honestly say if you have Medicaid you will not receive good dental care at all. You might get lucky and find three dentist that will not discriminate against Medicaid and file the insurance. My children have special needs so they automatically receive the insurance. However it’s pointless if 90% of dentist in Wilmington don’t accept Medicaid.

And it seems to me that nobody is doing anything to help resolve this issue. I have to get my children added to my dental plan and even still most dentist here aren’t in network with major insurances and advise to file the insurance yet still have to pay for dental services up front. What sense do that make if I have dental insurance through my job? This is only for the Pediatricians however I haven’t had this issue with General/Family Dentists. It’s like third world, but completely opposite if you have medical care. I’ll be moving outside of Wilmington soon into a major city.
