Peccato non si possano mettere 0 stelle perché neanche una se ne merita. Mi sono recata nel pomeriggio in comune per rinnovare la carta d’identità, gli orari sono dalle 16:00 alle 18:00 io sono arrivata alle 17:00 subito dopo aver finito di lavorare, appena sono entrata in comune ho chiesto dove poterla fare e mi hanno risposto dicendomi che il comune stava per chiudere e che dovevo passare la mattina, io ho spiegato che di mattina lavoro e mi hanno risposto con maleducazione dicendomi “ non è un mio problema, ti prendi un giorno da lavoro e vieni.”

Non mi capita mai di scrivere una recensione negativa ma purtroppo è proprio necessaria... siamo stati in vacanza nel 2012 in un villaggio turistico e abbiamo pagato la tassa di soggiorno (la più cara che ci sia capitata)..beh nel 2017 mi è arrivata una multa dal comune di Cassano Ionio perché ritenevano che non avevamo pagato questa tassa... meno male che io conservavo ancora la ricevuta... ho finalmente avuto l'annullamento...ma due giorni fa mi è arrivata una cartella esattoriale dell'Equitalia... pare che al comune non si passino le comunicazioni. Sconsiglio di villeggiare in questo comune nonostante i posti meravigliosi e soprattutto conservate le ricevute

Il Centro storico di Cassano Jonio è molto bello, ma in gran parte abbandonato dalle famiglie patrizie che hanno fatto la storia di questa città. Anche le varie amministrazioni comunali non se se sono praticamente occupate. Gran parte dei palazzi una volta importanti del centro storico sono disabitati e in rovina.
La parte bella e curata è quella intorno alla Cattedrale e curia vescovile e vicino al Municipio.

Questa amministrazione con gli autovelox ha trovato la gallina dalle uova d'oro. Ho ricevuto una multa perchè transitavo a 73 Km/h invece che a 70 (70 su una strada, la 534, che collega la ss 106 all'autostrada!!!). Mi sono documentato e ho trovato questa perla : "Cassano, autovelox record, 20000 multe in tre mesi per un incasso di oltre duecentomila euro" (Gazzetta del Sud online). Che dire? Invito i turisti a tenersi alla larga da questo comune!
